Astronomy Evenings at the SFPL continues on August 25, 6:30pm. Roger Menard from the Astronomical Society of Southern New England presents "Mythology & Folklore of Constellations"
Since the beginning of time, man has looked up at the night sky and wondered about the stars. The stars were once a mystery before man discovered what we know today. Constellations were like dot to dot puzzles used to tell a story. Join us for this fascinating talk on how the constellations got their names and how the night sky is filled with mythological characters.
