Join us for a weekly gathering to play American Mah Jongg! The Library is excited to offer Mah Jongg sets, card tables, and an inviting space to play each Thursday morning. National Mah Jongg League rules will be followed. If you already have a NMJL Card of Standard Hands and Rules, please bring it with you.
Please note that instruction will be offered by Mah Jongg Maven Pat O during this program.
The Swansea Free Public Library presents Beginners German language classes with Christel Amaral.
Learn a new and exciting language, including basic words and phrases. Learn how to order food and drinks, tell time and ask for directions. Learn all about German Culture and History. This language conversation group is great for those interested in practicing speaking in another language.
This class is open to all levels of experience.
The Swansea Card Makers meet every Wednesday for a fun afternoon making beautiful cards to brighten someones day. Our card making masters Bonnie and Jean provide two cards per class and sometimes other paper crafts. Make the nicest cards for family and friends. All supplies provided.
