Join us as Swansea welcomes Iditarod Racer Karen Land and her dog Noggin at The First Christian Congregational Church. Karen will talk about her experiences racing in the Iditarod, the annual long-distance sled dog race run in early March from Anchorage to Nome. The Iditarod began in 1973 as an event to test the best sled dog mushers and teams but has evolved into today's highly competitive race. Karen will tell us about her adventures as a musher.
