Always wanted to make a quilt but did not have the time? It's a great time to learn to quilt.
Join Quilter Diane Preble as she teaches beginning quilt making. Learn basic fabric cutting and piecing techniques. Basic stitching and seam pressing practices will also be demonstrated. Learn to measure, cut and piece specific quilting blocks (quilting squares) and how to assemble a quilt.

This fiction book club meets the third Friday of each month (unless otherwise noted). We bring our lunch and discuss all types of fiction.
The Friends of the Swansea Public Library is a non-profit organization that offers programs and fundraisers to help aid the library and the community. We help support library programs and fund passes to museums, zoos and other venues. Members of the Friends also volunteer at various events throughout the year.
