Learn about seeds and soil. We will plant our own seeds to take with us and to plant outside. We will work on creating a butterfly garden and container gardening. All junior gardeners are welcome. Spring is a great time to spend outdoors.

It's a bubble bonanza as we spend time outdoors (weather permitting) with bubbles. All ages are invited to share in the fun on the front lawn of the library. Come blow bubbles with us. Bubbles and wands provided.
The library is celebrating Earth Day with Animal Experiences. Join Dave Marchetti as he brings animals and reptiles to this fun, hands on program. Dave's program focuses on bringing children and adults closer to nature. All ages are invited. Vacation week ends with a blast. Join us for this interactive, entertaining and educational program.
The Swansea Free Public Library invites you to celebrate spring with a special program, on Thursday March 28th at 6:00 PM. Mary Martha Murphy returns with her program, All About Birds. Learn about the wonderful world of bird watching. This program will show you how to identify birds, use field guides and binoculars and share the best local places for bird watching.
It's the Swansea Free Public Library annual Peep Diorama Contest. Create a diorama based on a book. Use peeps marshmallow treats to create a scene from one of your favorite books in a shoe-box sized diorama. The finished diorama is due at the library by Friday April 12. Peep into your favorite book. Don't delay. Grab a "Peep" of the action!
